About Us

Saleda Lodge is a private lodge, set on the banks of the Limpopo River, on Limpopo Lipadi Private Game and Wilderness Reserve.  Our "home from home" ethos epitomises exclusive, Botswana safari accommodation.  The lodge is primarily for the enjoyment of the Salmon family and their guests. 

 

 The lodge is rented out "villa-style" on an exclusive use, fully inclusive basis (this includes accommodation, meals, two game drives a day and non-alcoholic drinks) for USD 2500 per night for up to eight people.  For more information on availability, rates and to make a reservation please contact:

ROOMS

Our Rooms

There are four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and outside showers, elegantly and comfortably furnished in authentic bush style with African hardwood furniture.  The bedrooms are in separate units around a central lodge featuring a lounge, dining room and kitchen with a mezzanine TV / games room.  The standard layout for all four bedrooms is a king size bed but in two of the rooms the bed layout can be modified into twin bedded rooms.  The maximum occupancy is eight people.

OUR SERVICES

Our Services

Breakfast

 

Is usually eaten after the morning game drive at around 10.30am, but can be arranged for any time that suits you, if you make arrangements in advance with the chef.  Breakfast in the bush can be arranged and is a very special treat.

Garden

 

The lodge is set in a one hectare plot of pristine African bush on the banks  of the Limpopo River.  The garden is for your enjoyment, but please remember that you share the environment with the wildlife who also live there.  Please pay attention at all times.

Pool and Spa

 

There is a pool in front of the main lodge with a pool bar.  Overlooking the gully, in a quiet, private location is a spa with hot tub and massage bed for a bit of pampering.

Wi-fi

 

Wi-Fi is available.  Please be aware that service may at times be interrupted or slower than normal service in cities.

Daily Housekeeping

 

Rooms will be cleaned and refreshed daily whilst you are out on your morning game drive.  If you wish to sleep in and not have your room cleaned please notify the housekeeper.

Dinner

Is usually served after the afternoon game drive at 7pm but can be arranged for any time in advance with the chef.  Bush  dinners can be organised at certain locations to make your stay extra special.

Things to Do

Bush Walk
For an experience of a lifetime book a walk with your ranger on the reserve for a different experience of the bush.
Bush Drives
Experience the African bush and see the wildlife  in their natural habitat from the comfort of a luxury open game vehicle with your own specialist guide.  Drives can be tailored to your personal interests.
Cultural Tour
Book a visit with the lodge management team to the local villages near to the game reserve to develop an understanding of the local culture.
Sundowners and Stargazing
 

Have a romantic sundowner followed by stargazing with your loved one.  For more details and to book contact the lodge manager.

Cycling

There are four mountain bikes available for use.  This activity is only available at present if accompanied by a professional guide.
